Our deepest sympathies go out to Nebraskan women, reproductive rights supporters, and especially Dr. Carhart. The Nebraskan legislature passed LB1103, the "Pain Capable Unborn Child Act" virtually banning all abortion in Nebraska past 20 weeks.
This isn't just a blow for Nebraska women, but women all over the United States that seek late term abortion from one of the few providers left in the U.S. You can bet this law will be challenged in court.
